Job summary

Hudson Homes Qld is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee residential sites across Ipswich and the Brisbane western suburbs, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery. The role requires active coordination of subcontractors, site inspections, and adherence to budget and regulatory standards.

You will manage up to ~20 builds concurrently, liaising with engineers, certifiers, and suppliers, while maintaining comprehensive records and-upholding Hudson Homes values of

Qualifications

• Holds a QBCC Supervisor licence and relevant regulatory approvals.
• Proven experience supervising residential construction sites.
• Willingness to travel between SE Queensland construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise day-to-day activities of subcontractors and trades.
• Monitor safety, quality, and budget on multiple sites.
• Liaise with engineers, certifiers, and council representatives.
• Maintain site records and ensure compliance with WHS standards.

Our construction team supervises the delivery of quality homes across South East Queensland, working closely with subcontractors, trades, sales and clients throughout the build.

About the Role

We are currently looking for an experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team, managing residential construction sites across Ipswich and Brisbane's western suburbs. Key duties will include:

• Coordinating, scheduling and monitoring the day to day performance of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring on site works are completed safely, efficiently, within budget and to a high standard of quality
  

• Reporting construction updates to Head Office through company online systems, including photos at relevant stages, maintaining job notes and meeting with the Construction Manager weekly
  

• Liaising with and managing the relationship with engineers, private certifiers and other consultants, including booking inspections and providing required lead notice
  

• Maintaining a safe worksite at all times, complying with applicable safety standards and completing all Hudson Homes safety documentation and records
  

• Keeping WHS documents current, including ensuring Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) are up to date and signed by subcontractors and their workers before they start on site
  

• Managing the construction of up to 20 project home builds at any given time, ensuring each is completed on time, to a high standard of quality and on budget
  

• Overseeing quality assurance for each project, including completing progressive quality inspections and reports
  

• Picking up and dropping off materials as required, and ensuring purchases are backed by a purchase order
  

• Representing Hudson Homes professionally in all dealings with trades, suppliers and customers
  

Requirements

We are seeking a candidate who:

• Holds a current QBCC Supervisor licence
  

• Has previous experience supervising residential construction sites
  

Highly desirable:

• Holds a current Construction Induction (White Card)
  

• Holds a current driver's licence, with the ability to travel between construction sites across South East Queensland
