Job summary

Modcon Homes is seeking a South-Side Site Supervisor to join a growing team in Brisbane. You will oversee multiple residential projects, coordinate trades and materials, and ensure builds align with drawings, budgets, and safety standards.

The role requires solid knowledge of Australian codes, strong project management skills, and effective communication to manage subcontractors and schedule deliveries. Immediate start available in Logan/Marsden/Waterford West areas.

Qualifications

• A Building Trade Certificate or tertiary education in Building & Construction.
• Previous volume building supervisory experience preferred but not essential.
• Solid technical knowledge of the Australian Building Codes, Council requirements, and Covenants.
• A strong project management ability to coordinate multiple service providers and suppliers to complete homes expediently.
• The ability to proactively respond to issues as they arise and take the necessary actions to rectify or prevent problems in an efficient manner.
• Outstanding communication, and conflict resolution ability with a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid White Card.
• Full unencumbered driver's license.
• Computer literacy or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Supervising numerous projects.
• The allocation of materials and trades to job sites to ensure timely construction of homes.
• Ensuring that homes are built in accordance with contractual arrangements and approved drawings.
• Build and maintain relationships with subcontractor(s).
• Ensure safety requirements are met and maintained.
• Interpret construction drawings and survey plans.
• Scheduling and negotiation with trades to ensure jobs flow progressively.
• Arranging supplies of materials and equipment and verifying delivery.
• Inspecting completed work to ensure high standard of quality workmanship.
• Ensuring that homes are completed on time and within the allocated budget, including monitoring and controlling ETS’s.
• Ensuring construction is carried out safely and in accordance with Safety Management System and WH&S legislation and internal operating systems.
• Ensuring that the Onsite Companion project management system is kept up to date during the build process.

Currently seeking a South-Side Site Supervisor to join the team that is expanding quickly with the current workflow scheduled out to 2027.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Looking for a Site Supervisor to join a supportive and reliable construction company, that wants to further develop their skills within the industry. Preferred to be in the construction industry and understand the fundamental process of building quality homes located in Logan/Marsden/Waterford West/Redbank Plains/Beaudesert.
