Job summary

Modcon Homes Pty Ltd is seeking a South-Side Site Supervisor in Brisbane. You will oversee multiple home projects, coordinate materials and trades, and ensure builds meet drawings and contracts. Maintain safety compliance and strong subcontractor networks.

The role requires a building qualification, strong PM skills, and a proactive approach to issue resolution in a fast-paced environment. A White Card and driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• A Building Trade Certificate or tertiary education in Building & Construction
• Volume building supervisory experience preferred but not essential
• Solid knowledge of Australian Building Codes, Council requirements, and Covenants
• Strong project management to coordinate multiple providers
• Ability to respond to issues proactively and take corrective action
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
• Valid White Card
• Full unencumbered driver's license
• Computer literacy or willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Interpret construction drawings and survey plans

• Inspect work for high quality workmanship
• Ensure on-time completion within budget, monitor ETS
• Ensure safety per Safety Management System and WHS laws
• Keep Onsite Companion PM system up to date

Currently seeking a South-Side Site Supervisor to join the team that is expanding quickly with the current workflow scheduled out to 2027.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Looking for a Site Supervisor to join a supportive and reliable construction company, that wants to further develop their skills within the industry. Preferred to be in the construction industry and understand the fundamental process of building quality homes located in Logan/Marsden/Waterford West/Redbank Plains/Beaudesert.

• Supervising numerous projects
• The allocation of materials and trades to job sites to ensure timely construction of homes
• Ensuring that homes are built in accordance with contractual arrangements and approved drawings
• Build and maintain relationships with subcontractor
• Ensure safety requirements are being met and maintained
• Interpret construction drawings and survey plans
• Scheduling and negotiation with trades to ensure jobs flow progressively
• Arranging supplies of materials and equipment and verifying delivery
• Inspecting completed work to ensure high standard of quality workmanship, including quality inspections
• Ensuring that homes are completed on time and within the allocated budget, including monitoring and controlling ETS's
• Ensuring construction is carried out safely and in accordance with company Safety Management System and the WH&S legislation and internal operating systems
• Ensuring that the Onsite Companion project management system is kept up to date during the build process

THE IDEAL PERSON WILL HAVE

• A Building Trade Certificate or tertiary education in Building & Construction
• Previous volume building supervisory experience preferred but not essentialSolid technical knowledge of the Australian Building Codes, Council requirements, and Covenants
• A strong project management ability to coordinate multiple service providers and suppliers to complete homes expediently
• The ability to proactively respond to issues as they arise and take the necessary actions to rectify or prevent problems in an efficient manner
• Outstanding communication, and conflict resolution ability with a passion for working in a fast-paced environment
• A valid White Card
• Full unencumbered driver's license
• Computer literacy or willingness to learn
