Job summary

Inovi Projects is seeking a skilled Estimator to join our NSW team. You will prepare accurate cost estimates across diverse projects, from concept through tendering, liaising with PMs and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.

The role requires 3+ years of estimating experience, proficiency with CostX, Cubit and Bluebeam, and strong commercial acumen. Based in Sydney, the team values accuracy and collaboration on mid-to-large scale builds.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimation experience in construction.
• Strong knowledge of materials, methods and costs.
• Proficiency with estimating software and spreadsheets.
• Detail-oriented, commercially minded and well organized.
• Experience with CostX, Cubit and Bluebeam.
• Head Contractor exposure in fit-out, refurbishment or new build.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour and equipment.
• Analyse project specifications, drawings and other documents to identify cost components.
• Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing.
• Participate in bidding and tendering to ensure competitive proposals.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations and changes in costs.
• Provide support to the project team throughout the construction process.
• Submit tenders up to $20M.
• Review and analyse subcontractor quotations.
• Contribute to methodology, risk reviews and value engineering.
• Follow up tenders, negotiate outcomes and build relationships with clients, consultants and trades.
