Job summary

Inovi Projects is seeking an experienced Estimator to lead the cost estimation for diverse construction projects in New South Wales. You will prepare comprehensive estimates, review drawings and specifications, and coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to secure competitive, profitable tenders.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in estimation within head-contractor environments, strong knowledge of materials and methods, and proficiency in CostX, Cubit and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as an Estimator in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods and cost estimation principles.
• Proficiency with estimating software and spreadsheet applications.
• Experience with head contractor environments and cost management.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, and equipment requirements.
• Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documents to identify all cost components.
• Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing information.
• Participate in bidding and tendering processes to keep proposals competitive and profitable.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and changes in costs.
