MISK CONSTRUCTION GROUP PTY LTD is seeking a full-time Construction Estimator to join our team in Australia. The successful candidate will prepare accurate cost estimates, review project documentation, and support the commercial delivery of building projects.

The role involves analyzing drawings and specifications, coordinating with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure costs are accurately assessed and commercially viable.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Experience preparing estimates and tenders for building or construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction costs, procurement processes and project budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret architectural drawings, construction plans, specifications and tender documentation.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labour, materials, plant, equipment and subcontractor requirements.
• Analyse project scope and identify cost implications, risks and variations.
• Obtain and assess quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and bills of quantities for construction projects.
• Develop pricing schedules and assist with the preparation of tenders and proposals.
• Compare supplier and subcontractor quotations and recommend suitable options.
