Job summary

The Adnate Perth by Accor is seeking a Sales and Events Executive to drive conference bookings from inquiry to confirmation, delivering memorable events in Perth’s vibrant hospitality scene.

You will respond to enquiries, prepare proposals and contracts, coordinate site inspections, manage budgets, and partner with the Director of Conference & Events to seize revenue opportunities while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Past experience in a similar role with conference & events sales and exceptional customer service.
• Creativity for designing unique event experiences and solving challenges.
• Proficiency in budgeting, cost estimation and financial management.
• Skilled in negotiating with suppliers, vendors and clients for favourable terms.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to conference sales enquiries, send proposals and follow up to convert enquiries into bookings.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and internal handover documentation accurately and timely.
• Maintain effective communication with clients via phone, email and in-person interactions.
• Provide passionate, friendly and courteous service to external and internal guests.
• Conduct site inspections with potential clients as required.
• Focus on achieving conversion targets, revenue generation and meeting budgets.
• Assist the Director of Conference & Events in identifying and implementing revenue opportunities.
• Assist the Conference & Events Coordinator as required.
