Job summary

Accor is seeking a Business Development Manager - Shared Services to develop opportunities for Art Series - The Adnate and support WA Regional shared services. Based at The Adnate in Perth, you will drive revenue through corporate and conference sales and cross-sell opportunities in the region.

The role focuses on selling hotel rooms and event space, researching local markets, and negotiating client contracts.

Purpose

The Business Development Manager - Shared Services is responsible for developing new business opportunities for Art Series - The Adnate, while also taking ownership of proactive sales activities for select WA Regional properties. The role will also be an extension of the Apartments & Realty shared services team and will assist in cross selling opportunities in region.

The position will identify revenue opportunities and undertake direct sales activity to convert business across all market segments with a strong focus on corporate and conference and events for Art Series - The Adnate. This position will be based at The Adnate, Perth.

Primary Responsibilities

• Create and implement strategies to sell hotel rooms and C&E spaces
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand local market trends
• Set and achieve sales targets for room bookings and event space reservations
• Plan and execute promotional activities, campaigns, and events to attract local clientele
• Attend local events, trade shows, and business functions to promote the hotel and network with potential clients

Skills And Experience

• Previous experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in sales or business development roles
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with local businesses, community leaders, and clients
• Proficient in analysing sales data, generating reports, and gaining feedback to improve strategies and services
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with other hotel departments
• Experience negotiating contracts and agreements with clients and partners
