Job summary

Bechtel is delivering EPC services for the Eva Copper Mine Project in North Queensland. The Concrete Supervisor will oversee direct hire and contractor activities on site, ensuring ES&H, quality and schedule adherence on a 2:1 FIFO roster.

This role requires extensive civil and concrete works experience, strong communication, and leadership to manage contractor teams and interface with stakeholders across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering preferred or 10+ years in civil/concrete industrial projects.
• Experience on large-scale construction sites with contractors or PMC roles.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor direct hire and subcontractor activities to meet ES&H, quality and schedule requirements.
• Coordinate with installation contractors, project status, schedule, cost control and change management.
• Interface with client, contractors and stakeholders to maintain positive project relations.
• Review submittals, RFIs, field changes and drawings; ensure compliance and quality.
• Coordinate interfaces with other work groups and ensure frontline construction continuity.
