Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Concrete and Batch Plant Supervisor for the Eva Copper Process Plant in Queensland, Australia. The role oversees direct hire and contractor activities, ensuring ES&H, quality and schedule adherence while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in civil/concrete works on industrial sites and proven ability to lead contractor staff and construction engineers, coordinating multiple interfaces across disciplines to deliver safe,

Qualifications

• Experience in large reinforced concrete construction pours.
• Thorough knowledge of safety standards and codes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work independently and lead contractor teams.
• Experience with complex formwork systems on industrial plants.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate performance of the Batch Plant and installation contractors, tracking project status, schedule and costs.
• Plan and forecast material deliveries and daily concrete production to support schedules.
• Monitor direct hire and subcontractor compliance with ES&H plans, quality standards and safety codes.
• Review subcontractors' submittals, technical queries, field changes, drawings and As-Builts.
• Maintain interfaces with other work groups and stakeholders throughout the project.
