Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Structural Supervisor for the Eva Copper project in Queensland, Australia. You will supervise structural steel installation within process plant areas, directing craft personnel and ensuring safety standards, quality, and schedule adherence.

The role requires deep knowledge of field construction, ES&H processes, and Bechtel's standards. You will coordinate with discipline leads, manage resources, and uphold housekeeping and safe work practices on site.

Qualifications

• 12–14 years of experience on large industrial or mining construction projects with structural steel installation.
• 5 years of supervisory experience in structural steel roles.
• Experience managing building processes from civil foundations through to final steel installation acceptances.

Responsibilities

• Implement ES&H and quality control programs.
• Supervise and coordinate structural craft activities.
• Coordinate craft safety training and enforce safe work practices.
• Plan manpower and interface with labor relations for recruitment and training.
• Oversee crews, subcontractors, and equipment to meet project needs.
• Coordinate with lead disciplines and ensure housekeeping on site.
