Qualifications

• 1 year hands-on experience as computer and mobile phone technician.
• Strong knowledge diagnosing and repairing a variety of electronic devices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of operating systems, hardware components, software applications and basic cybersecurity.
• Customer-focused attitude with ability to explain issues clearly.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Availability to work two Saturdays per month as part of the roster.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues across laptops, desktops, smartphones and tablets.
• Perform data recovery, privacy and security audits, virus and malware removal, and general software troubleshooting.
• Apply basic cybersecurity knowledge to help protect customer devices and data.
• Provide technical advice, product guidance and support to customers.
• Identify technical problems and recommend effective repair solutions.
• Maintain a clean, organised and professional work environment.
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies, devices and industry repair techniques.
• Follow company policies, procedures and quality standards to ensure excellent service delivery.
