ARA Security in Kingsgrove is seeking a Compliance & WHS Administrator to provide hands‑on compliance and operational support across multiple business units. You’ll help manage onboarding, licences, inductions, and documentation while supporting ISO accreditation and WHSEQ audits.
The role requires strong organisation, ownership and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment. On‑site operations with close collaboration across teams are essential.
Keep people safe. Keep compliance on track. Keep the business moving.
Are you highly organised, detail-focused and someone who genuinely enjoys keeping things running smoothly?
We’re looking for a Compliance & WHS Administrator to join our team in Kingsgrove and provide hands‑on compliance and administrative support across several ARA business Units.
This is a busy, varied role where no two days will look exactly the same. You’ll work closely with operational teams and management, helping us stay on top of employee and subcontractor compliance, WHS requirements, licences, inductions, systems and general operational administration.
If you’re someone who loves organisation, takes ownership and spots what needs doing before being asked, we’d love to hear from you.
You’ll play an important role in keeping our people, contractors and operations organised and compliant. Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating employee onboarding and offboarding
Monitoring employee licences, certifications and compliance requirements
Managing client induction portals and coordinating employee and subcontractor inductions
Coordinating subcontractor setup and checking licences, insurances and other required documentation
Supporting the renewal of company licences, accreditations and compliance documentation
Assisting with ISO accreditation and HSEQ audits
Maintaining accurate compliance and personnel information within our internal systems
Coordinating approved travel, accommodation, uniforms and equipment
Supporting general office and operational administration
Working with teams to identify gaps, follow up outstanding requirements and keep compliance activities on track.
You don’t need to know everything on day one, but you do need to be organised, switched on and comfortable taking ownership.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
Previous administration experience
Experience in WHS, compliance, HSEQ or a similar environment
An understanding of WHS requirements, policies and procedures
Strong attention to detail and confidence managing documentation and records
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Confidence working with employees, managers, suppliers, subcontractors and clients
Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook
The ability to learn new operational and compliance systems quickly
A proactive, practical approach to problem‑solving.
We’re looking for someone who takes ownership.
You follow things through, keep accurate records, communicate clearly and aren’t afraid to chase up an outstanding licence, induction or document. Just as importantly, you’ll look for smarter ways of working and help us continuously improve how we manage compliance across the business.
The position description specifically emphasises accountability, communication, initiative, judgement, problem‑solving and a positive attitude, so I’ve brought those qualities forward in the ad without making it feel like a checklist.
If you’re looking for a role where you can make an impact, take ownership and become an important part of a busy operational team, we’d love to hear from you.
