Job summary

Howden Insurance Brokers (Australia) is seeking a commercially minded Compliance Manager to strengthen the ARMS compliance framework and embed a proactive compliance culture across the Australian business. You will work with leadership and operations to translate complex regulations into practical, risk-based controls and reporting.

The role sits within the Legal and Compliance function, partnering with stakeholders to uplift policies, procedures, registers and governance processes while

Qualifications

Confident, practical compliance professional with stakeholder influence.
Experience in regulated environments, ideally insurance/financial services.
Ability to translate complex regulation into practical processes and controls.

Responsibilities

Maintain and strengthen the ARMS compliance framework to align with regulatory obligations.
Develop and monitor assurance activities, reviews and breach management.
Prepare clear compliance reports for senior management and governance forums.
Educate and advise stakeholders to embed compliance in day-to-day decision making.
