Job summary

DUAL ANZ, part of Howden, seeks an experienced compliance professional to embed its Compliance Management Framework and uplift compliance maturity across the business in Australia. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into practical processes, oversight governance, and incident management.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of compliance experience in a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of compliance management frameworks, monitoring and reporting.
• Knowledge of ASIC requirements, financial crime obligations and industry standards.
• Experience preparing governance papers, incident/issue summaries and action plans.
• Experience managing compliance incidents and remediation tracking.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Compliance Management Framework.
• Support the Compliance Monitoring Plan, including reviews, testing, remediation and tracking.
• Prepare clear compliance reports for senior management, committees and Boards.
• Translate regulatory obligations into practical processes, controls and practices.
• Manage compliance incidents, breaches and issues, including root cause analysis and remediation.
• Maintain governance processes, including audits, conflicts of interest, and governance registers.
• Oversee financial crime arrangements, including sanctions screening and AML/CTF requirements.
• Develop and improve compliance policies, procedures and guidance.
• Support third-party risk management from a compliance perspective.
• Provide practical guidance to strengthen compliance awareness across the business.
