The role requires 1+ year experience or recent graduate in medical sciences, strong typing (80 WPM), clear communication, and Australian work rights.

Qualifications

• Greet patients in person with a friendly, professional demeanour.
• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal abilities with patients and healthcare providers.
• Experience as a medical receptionist or in a medical practice setting.
• PRODA experience is highly valued.
• Typing speed of 80 WPM with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Australian work rights are required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Answer calls and emails to schedule appointments and manage records.
• Receive confidential medical information and update the records system.
• Ensure records are complete before appointments.
• Invoice patients and book future appointments.
• Maintain reception space and liaise with insurers for appointments and invoicing.
