Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year medical reception experience.
• Australian work rights.
• WWCC (Working With Children Check) required.
• Fully vaccinated for COVID (3 doses).
• Excellent English written and verbal skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and medical practice software.
• Experience with billing, Medicare rebate claiming, and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high level of customer service to patients and visitors and communicate professionally.
• Communicate with patients and families in a compassionate manner.
• Schedule and manage appointments using GENTU medical practice software.
• Maintain up-to-date patient records, communication, and accounts (billing, rebate claiming, data entry, reporting).
• Provide administrative support to doctors and health professionals.
• Liaise with other medical practices and health services.
• Protect privacy and confidentiality of medical and financial records.
• Follow clinic policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with Practice Manager on matters related to the practice.
• Contribute to a clean and tidy practice environment.
