Ochre Medical Centre Bowenfels is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our supportive team. You will handle front desk duties, answer phones, arrange appointments, and process payments in a fast-paced regional clinic.

We welcome applicants with strong customer service skills and confidence with technology. Medical receptionist experience is an advantage but not required, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Front desk or reception experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise duties in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident with technology and able to use common software and devices.
• Flexible to work between 7:45am and 5:30pm on weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Front desk administration: answer phones, book appointments, process claims and payments.
• Liaise with patients, families, GPs and other health professionals in a compassionate manner.
• Scan and update all patient-related correspondence and results.
• Provide general reception, administrative and medical support duties as required.
• Support GP and practice nurse as needed.
