Catholic Healthcare Limited is seeking passionate individuals to support aged care clients at home in Ryde and surrounding areas. The role is permanent part-time, requiring a minimum of three days per week, with hours roughly 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday.

We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to make a difference in our Aged Care clients' lives by assisting them to live at home independently for as long as possible. You will be travelling around Ryde/ Epping and surrounding areas and will need to have some availability during weekdays Monday to Friday between 8am-5pm.(Preferably 3-5 days)

Day to day role looks like:

• General household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning the bathroom & kitchen, changing beds and washing
• Transport to appointments and shopping
• Meal preparation
• Social Support or Respite for family/carers
• Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)

To be successful in this role you’ll need

• A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
• Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
• A reliable team player
• Understanding of workplace health and safetyAn Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle (essential)
• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (not essential as you can complete this through our traineeship program)
• Willingness to apply for a Police Check
