Job summary

Catholic Healthcare is seeking caring individuals to support older clients in their homes around Ryde and Epping. You will travel between visits, helping with daily tasks and personal care as outlined in each care plan.

Role offers permanent part-time or casual hours with flexible days. A driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are essential, and the not-for-profit status provides tax advantages for staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day in-home tasks including cleaning, tidying, and laundry per care plan.
• Transport clients to appointments and shopping.
• Meal preparation.
• Provide social support or respite for family/caregivers.
• Assist with personal care (showering and dressing) if qualified.

We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to make a difference in our clients' lives by assisting them to live at home independently for as long as possible. You will be travelling around the Hills area in a varied and rewarding role - no two days will be the same!!

Day To Day Role Looks Like

• Supporting and connecting with our clients assisting with day to day in home tasks - cleaning, tidying, washing and other tasks within the client's care plan


• Transport to appointments and shopping


• Meal preparation


• Social Support or Respite for family/carers


• Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)

To Be Successful In This Role You’ll Need

• A genuine passion for providing high quality care to older Australian's in the community

• Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support highly regarded (but not essential)


• An Australian driver's licence and access to a registered motor vehicle (essential)
