Job summary

Catholic Healthcare is seeking Passionate Support Workers to assist older Australians in their homes across Campbelltown, Liverpool and surrounding areas. You will visit clients, help with daily tasks, transport, meal prep and social support in a varied, rewarding role.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for providing high quality care to older Australians.
• Ability to interact with a wide variety of people.
• Reliable team player with good workplace safety awareness.
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support highly regarded (but not essential).
• Australian driver's licence and access to a registered motor vehicle (essential).

Responsibilities

• Support and connect with clients, assisting with day-to-day in-home tasks (cleaning, tidying, washing) per care plan.
• Transport to appointments and shopping.
• Meal preparation.
• Social support or respite for family/carers.
• Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained).

• Recently increased hourly rate from $34.50 - $37.00 per hour+ 25% casual loading + superannuation + km reimbursement ($1.11 cents per km)

• Location - Travelling to visit clients around Bargo, Picton and surrounding areas

We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to make a difference in our clients' lives by assisting them to live at home independently for as long as possible. You will be travelling around Campbelltown and Liverpool areas in a varied and rewarding role - no two days will be the same!!

Day to day role looks like:

• Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support highly regarded (but not essential)
• An Australian driver's licence and access to a registered motor vehicle (essential)
