Catholic Healthcare Limited in New South Wales is seeking caring individuals to support aged care clients living at home across Five Dock, Leichhardt and surrounding areas. This permanent part-time role offers weekday hours (8am–5pm) with 3–5 days per week and travel between assigned areas.

You will perform domestic tasks, transport to appointments, meal preparation, social support and personal care where trained.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (not essential; traineeship available).
• Valid Australian driver's licence is essential for travel.
• Willingness to obtain a Police Check.
• Demonstrated empathy and patience when caring for older adults.

We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to make a difference in our Aged Care clients' lives by assisting them to live at home independently for as long as possible. You will be travelling around the Five dock, Leichardt and will need to have some availability during weekdays Monday to Friday between 8am-5pm.(Preferably 3-5 days)

Day to day role looks like:

• General household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning the bathroom & kitchen, changing beds and washing
• Transport to appointments and shopping
• Meal preparation
• Social Support or Respite for family/carers
• Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)

To be successful in this role you’ll need

• Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
• A reliable team player
• Understanding of workplace health and safetyAn Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle (essential)
• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (not essential as you can complete this through our traineeship program)
• Willingness to apply for a Police Check
