Zusammenfassung

Cloncurry Shire Council is seeking an organised, community-focused Community Venues Coordinator to join our Community and Cultural Services team. This role coordinates the operation, presentation and hire of Council’s community venues and facilities and acts as the primary contact for hirers.

You will build strong relationships with local groups, oversee venue setup and equipment, and coordinate bookings from inquiry through post-event follow-up.

Qualifikationen

• Experience coordinating venues, facilities, events or similar client-focused environments.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple bookings and requests.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Financial awareness and ability to manage fees, invoices and costs.
• Experience using booking and digital platforms for event management.

Aufgaben

• Managing venue bookings, hire documentation, fees, bonds, access arrangements and handovers.
• Building relationships with community groups, businesses and event organisers.
• Coordinating venue setup, pack-down and cleaning with hirers and teams.
• Undertaking venue inspections and addressing safety or maintenance issues.
• Maintaining equipment inventories and coordinating repairs or replacements.
• Keeping booking and financial records and providing operational reports.
