Shire of Broome seeks an experienced administrator to support the operation of the Broome Civic Centre and delivery of community, cultural and commercial events. You will manage enquires, bookings, scheduling and on-site services to ensure a high-quality venue experience.

The role requires a hands-on, can-do attitude with strong communication and organizational skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in events, hospitality or venue operations.
• Strong customer service focus and hands-on attitude.
• Outgoing, dynamic, proactive problem solver in a fast-paced environment.
• Well organized and adaptable with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the Broome Civic Centre operations and delivery of events.
• Respond to enquiries, coordinate bookings and scheduling services.
• Assist with event set-ups and pack-downs; ensure high standard of venue presentation.
• Support box office, bar and kiosk operations and venue hire financials.
• Contribute to marketing and continuous improvement initiatives.
