Job summary

Shoalhaven City Council is seeking a proactive leader to oversee day-to-day operations at the Bomaderry Indoor Sports Centre. You will manage bookings, administration, cafe/catering and staff development to deliver safe, welcoming, high-quality services for the community.

Key duties include leading daily operations, food safety compliance, customer service excellence, financial reconciliation, procurement, and stakeholder engagement. NSW WWCC is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience leading customer service teams within aquatic, recreation, or similar environments.
• Current Class C Driver's Licence.
• NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Proof of right to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily facility operations, ensuring safety, cleanliness, maintenance and customer service.
• Oversee café and catering operations, including food safety compliance.
• Manage bookings, events and facility administration.
• Coordinate cash handling, financial reconciliation, procurement and stock control processes.
• Support staff through training and performance management.
• Build relationships with customers, community groups, contractors and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement while ensuring child safety, WHS and environmental compliance.
