Job summary

MannaCare is a not-for-profit organisation delivering residential, community and in-home aged care in Manningham. We are seeking a Community Services Manager on a permanent full-time basis to lead rostering teams and senior staff, ensuring safe, quality care and sustainable growth in the community.

The role reports to the Executive Director Community Services and focuses on workforce coordination, service delivery and stakeholder engagement. An RN qualification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in Health, Community Services or Business Management.
• Registered Nursing qualification is highly desirable.
• Senior leadership experience in community services or aged care.
• Strong knowledge of aged care funding programs (Support at Home, CHSP).
• Understanding of SCHADS Award and rostering requirements.
• Experience in quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
• Experience using Alayacare or similar rostering systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop in-home support services and social support programs.
• Supervise, coach and support direct reports, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
• Oversee client intake, service coordination and community workforce rostering.
• Monitor departmental KPIs, budgets and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with aged care standards, funding requirements and SCHADS Award understanding.
• Monitor client needs, risks and changes in care requirements with appropriate follow-up.
• Build relationships with clients, families, referral partners and external stakeholders.
• Oversee quality audits, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support recruitment, staff development and performance management.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Community Services Manager to join the MannaCare on a permanent full time basis.

Reporting to the Executive Director Community Services, the Community Services Manager will lead the Rostering Team Lead, Community Support Worker Team Leaders, Social Support Groups and Admission/Intake Coordinator – Community, ensuring effective service delivery, workforce coordination, quality care supporting older people to live safely and independently in their own homes and sustainable growth.

About You

• Relevant qualifications in Health, Community Services or Business Management
• A Registered Nursing qualification is highly desirable
• Demonstrated senior leadership experience in community services or aged care
• Strong knowledge of aged care funding programs, including Support at Home and the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP)
• Understanding of the SCHADS Award and workforce rostering requirements
• Experience in quality improvement, risk management and regulatory compliance
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
