Job summary

The Salvation Army in Victoria is seeking a part-time Community Engagement Worker to develop and deliver inclusive community programs and initiatives in the Greater Grampians. The role involves building meaningful connections with individuals, families and local partners, and supporting volunteers and community partnerships onsite.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV or higher in Community Services or related field.
• Experience in community engagement and program delivery with stakeholder support.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and social media in professional settings.
• Current Victorian Driver Licence and Working with Children Check (or willingness).
• National Police Check (or willingness).

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and deliver community programs and events.
• Build and maintain relationships with community members and partners.
• Provide practical support, referrals and connections for those facing challenges.
• Recruit, support and develop volunteers for programs.
• Contribute to fundraising and communications including social media and websites.
