A.B. Paterson College on the Gold Coast invites applications for a Community Engagement Officer.

You will advance community and stakeholder engagement, foster partnerships, and support events, fundraising and alumni relations as part of the Marketing, Communications and Strategic Partnerships portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Communications and Strategic Partnerships, you will help implement the College's strategy, collaborate with the Foundation and parent groups, and contribute to a

Competenze

• Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
• 1-2 years' experience in communications, community engagement, fundraising, events, or related field.
• Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard business hours to support events.
• Experience supporting the development and delivery of communications and engagement initiatives.
• Sound understanding of community engagement, stakeholder relationship management, and fundraising principles.
• Experience or a strong interest in event coordination and delivery.
• Knowledge of social media platforms, digital communications, and marketing techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive stakeholder relationships.
• A collaborative and proactive approach, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with students, families, alumni, Foundation members, parent groups and other key College stakeholders.
• Support fundraising, community engagement and partnership initiatives in collaboration with the Foundation and parent groups.
• Coordinate alumni engagement activities and foster meaningful connections with Old Collegians and the broader alumni community.
• Coordinate and support the delivery of College events, ensuring a professional and engaging stakeholder experience.
• Create and distribute marketing, communications and promotional content across a range of channels.
• Maintain and update website content to ensure information is accurate, relevant and aligned with College brand standards.
