Job summary

The position requires Certificate II in Horticulture or Parks and Gardens, experience, and a readiness to work outside standard hours.

Qualifications

• Certificate II in Horticulture or Parks and Gardens is required.
• Experience in grounds maintenance including mowing and garden upkeep.
• Ability to operate mowers, tractors and other equipment safely.
• Knowledge of horticultural practices for lawns and landscaped areas.
• Experience with sports field maintenance and irrigation is highly regarded.
• Willingness to undertake training and to work outside standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance College grounds, gardens and fields with high-quality horticultural practices.
• Ensure safety and compliance by following WHS requirements and reporting hazards.
• Prepare outdoor spaces for events and daily activities; assist with weather recovery.
• Support traffic management, minor repairs and operation of grounds equipment.
