Job summary

The University of Adelaide is seeking a Communications and Events Project Coordinator to lead the planning and delivery of CU Australasia and Africa communications and marketing activities. You will connect with stakeholders, partners and learning destinations to promote opportunities and growth.

Working across South Australia and with national partners, you will oversee online platforms, plan graduation ceremonies, develop marketing materials and track data to support reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing and implementing effective communication and marketing strategies across digital and print platforms.
• Experience developing, coordinating and managing events, with strong organisational and project management skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across all levels.
• Highly developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret data, prepare reports and provide informed advice.

Work that matters

The Communications and Events Project Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of the Children’s University (CU) Australasia and Africa (IO) communications and marketing activities, connecting with key stakeholders, members, learning destinations, industry and community partners. You will assist with developing and implementing engaging communications that promote CU opportunities, programs, media coverage and growth.

Working collaboratively across South Australia and with national partners, you will build strong internal and external relationships and ensure consistent messaging, branding and communications. The role also oversees the development and enhancement of CU’s online platforms, ensuring they effectively support members and stakeholders.

You will coordinate graduation ceremonies and other key events, manage the development of marketing and promotional materials, and oversee event and communications data to support effective planning and reporting. This is an opportunity to play a key role in growing the reach, engagement and visibility of Children’s University Australia.

Reporting to the Associate Director, Children’s University Australasia and Africa (IO), and working within the Widening Participation and Impact team, you will coordinate communications, digital engagement, events and stakeholder activities that help grow the reach and impact of Children’s University across Australia and internationally.
