No matter what corporate or support role you play in delivering our critical services to Victorians, you will join a team dedicated to bringing our vision to be a world leading ambulance service to life.

We are seeking a Communications Administrative Support Officer to provide administrative and operational support within our Operational Communications department.

We are looking to fill one ongoing full-time position and multiple fixed-term full-time positions for a period of up to two years. Consideration will also be given to part-time and casual employment arrangements.

  • Act as a first point of contact, answering calls, responding to routine enquiries, and directing complex matters to the appropriate team
  • Record and manage vehicle, equipment, and technical issues, escalating concerns when required
  • Assist with staff break management, shift-related activities, and maintaining operational records and reports
  • Provide administrative support to Duty Managers, including coordinating bookings, maintaining operational information, and assisting with staff recall processes
About You

To be considered for this position you will possess a degree or relevant industry certification with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training and relevant experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • High level of attention to detail, with the ability to accurately record and manage information while maintaining confidentiality
  • A resilient team player who can work effectively under pressure and is available to work rotating shifts across a 24/7 roster
