Reporting to the Sous Chef, you will support your section, help with food preparation, and maintain rigorous hygiene while delivering consistent quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher is required.
• Experience in fine or casual dining settings.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including mornings/evenings/weekends/public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support the assigned section as directed by the Sous Chef and train junior staff.
• Assist with fundamental cooking and food preparation tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations.
• Complete duties in line with hygiene requirements and safety.
• Ensure high quality and consistency in a fast-paced environment.
