Job summary

Eureka Hotel Geelong is seeking a Commis Chef to join our busy kitchen, supporting the team and helping deliver quality meals to guests. A passion for food, good communication and a strong work ethic are essential.

The role starts on a casual basis during probation with the opportunity to move into a full-time position for the right candidate. You will work alongside an experienced team across a varied pub menu, focusing on food quality, presentation and food safety.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Passion for food and willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work well in a busy kitchen team.
• Good communication and organisation skills.
• Strong focus on food quality, consistency and presentation.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Flexibility to work weekends and busy periods.
