Eureka Hotel in Geelong is seeking a motivated Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. You’ll work on a varied pub menu, delivering quality meals while upholding high food safety and presentation standards. The position starts on a casual basis during probation with a view to moving into full-time for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen
• Passion for food and willingness to learn
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work well within a busy kitchen team
• Good communication and organisation skills
• Strong focus on food quality, consistency and presentation
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and busy periods
