Job summary

Mercure Resort Gold Coast is seeking a passionate cook to join our culinary team, delivering breakfast, lunch and dinner services with care and precision.

You will prepare ingredients, maintain station cleanliness, and work as part of a dynamic hotel kitchen, delivering locally inspired dishes and exceptional guest experiences across a seven-day roster.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for the culinary arts and creating locally inspired dishes
• Positive energy and enthusiasm to learn and grow in the industry
• Excellent time-management, punctuality, and organisation skills
• Knowledge of operational service requirements across Breakfast, lunch, dinner, functions and buffet
• Able to work with calm composure in a fast-paced environment
• Trade qualified (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
• Commitment to kitchen hygiene and food safety best practices
• Previous experience in the hotel industry is ideal
• Full, unrestricted work rights in Australia and flexible availability across a seven-day roster (AM & PM shifts)
