Job summary

DUAL Australia Pty Limited in Brisbane is seeking an Underwriter - Commercial to join our Brisbane Underwriting team. You will develop your technical underwriting capabilities across Financial Lines, General Liability and Accident & Health while building strong broker relationships and gaining exposure to a broad range of risks.

You will manage an SME renewal portfolio, build broker engagement, respond to broker enquiries, and advance your underwriting knowledge across multiple product lines.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' insurance experience.
• Genuine interest in underwriting career development.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with brokers by phone.
• Strong customer service, organisation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service an SME renewal portfolio using the DUAL Webrater platform.
• Build and maintain broker relationships through regular engagement and proactive communication.
• Respond to broker enquiries and provide timely underwriting support.
