DUAL, part of Howden, is seeking an Underwriter – Commercial to join the Sydney Underwriting team.

You will manage a SME renewal portfolio, build broker relationships through regular engagement, and provide timely underwriting support across Financial Lines, General Liability and Accident & Health. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in insurance with strong communication and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' insurance industry experience.
• Experience in policy administration or underwriting support preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to learn and progress into underwriting.
• Proactive approach to broker engagement.

Responsabilités

• Manage and service SME renewal portfolio via DUAL Webrater.
• Build and maintain broker relationships through regular engagement.
• Respond to broker inquiries and provide underwriting support.
• Develop underwriting knowledge across product lines.
• Support business development through broker outreach.
