Job summary

Certis Australia is seeking a Collections Team Leader to manage the day-to-day collections operation, coach a team of officers, and protect financial health. The role blends leadership, risk management, and customer-focused recovery in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee debtor portfolios, resolve complex matters, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with Finance to optimise cash flow. Hybrid work is offered, with a base salary around AU$90k plus super.

Qualifications

• Experience in collections, credit control, or accounts receivable.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or coaching experience.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Sound judgement, resilience, and attention to detail.
• Comfort working in a target-driven, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day collections operation and drive results.
• Coach and support a team of Collections Officers.
• Oversee debtor portfolios and resolve high-risk or escalated matters.
• Ensure activities meet regulatory requirements and maintain audit-ready records.
• Use data and reporting to track performance and improve cash flow.
