Old Mate's Group, based at Old Mate's Place on Clarence Street in the Sydney CBD, seeks experienced cocktail bartenders to join a high-volume team focused on guest experience. The venue recently earned recognition as a top bar, with in-house training to develop your skills further.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years in a fast-paced cocktail bar, possess RSA certification, and have Australian work rights. Commitment for longer than 6 months is expected as part of the team.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in a high pace cocktail bar.
• Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification required at start of employment.
• Australian work rights required for this position and able to commit for longer than 6 months.

Old Mate's Group is looking for cocktail bar staff to join a team of professionals that strive to provide quality service. The role is based at Old Mate's Place, a 2 level bar with a rooftop located on Clarence Street in the heart of the Sydney CBD. Old Mate's Place is a winner of the 2025 Bar of the year by Australian Bartender Magazine. Part of the family is Old Love's, a winner of rum bar of the year 2025 for Bartender magazine. The venues are multi-faceted high-volume cocktail bars focused on guest experience. We have a solid inhouse training program in place for the right candidate to develop the skills they have already achieved in their professional bartending career.
