You will lead tours, present talks, and coordinate group visits while prioritising visitor safety and high-quality experiences.

Applicants should have a tourism/hospitality background and a current First Aid certificate.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Tourism, Hospitality or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in tourism or hospitality as a Tour Guide.
Current First Aid Certificate (desirable).
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a team and maintain safety.
Commitment to integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Deliver consistent and high-quality tours and engagement.
Present historic displays and interpretative sites clearly.
Observe and implement safety practices for visitor safety.
Be flexible and adapt presentations to group requirements.
Meet, greet and engage all visitors across the Lightstation site.
Provide informative commentary in the Lantern Room on Lighthouse operations and history.
Keep the Lighthouse clean and tidy per routine schedule.
Comply with OH&S policies and emergency procedures.
Update knowledge of Lightstation history and related topics.
