Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority is seeking a Cape Otway Lightstation Tour Guide to deliver engaging, educational tours and provide memorable visitor experiences. You will present historic content, manage group tours, and ensure safety while guiding guests through the Lantern Room and surrounding areas.
Applicants should have a tourism/hospitality background, a current First Aid certificate (desirable) and strong communication skills.

TheGreat Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority is responsible for protecting and managing one of Australia’s most iconic coastal landscapes. We care for parks, reserves and marine environments along the Great Ocean Road, including internationally recognised visitor sites. Working closely with Traditional Owners, communities and stakeholders, we protect environmental, cultural and heritage values while supporting sustainable visitation and long‑term conservation.
The Tour Guide is responsible for delivering consistent and high-quality tours through visitor engagement, conducting enjoyable, educational and valuable experiences for all guests at Cape Otway Lightstation. The role is responsible for following the duties and timings as described in the site Guide Schedule, which incorporates roles such as guiding in the tower, presenting set history talks and co‑ordinating group tours.
Please note -Group interviews/Assessment Days for this role will be held soon on Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th October.
