Job summary

Beachcomber Hotel & Resort on the NSW South Coast, part of Oscars Group, is seeking a friendly Guest Service Agent on a casual basis. You will be the first point of contact, handling arrivals, check-ins, reservations, and guest enquiries to ensure a warm, memorable stay.

You’ll work with a supportive hotel team, provide information about facilities and local attractions, manage payments and guest records, and collaborate with housekeeping to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel reception or guest services is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
• Comfortable using computer systems and hotel PMS.
• Reliable, adaptable and a team player.
• Flexible availability including weekends and public holidays.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and deliver friendly, professional front office service
• Manage check-ins, check-outs, reservations and room allocations
• Respond to guest enquiries, requests and feedback
• Provide accurate information about the hotel, its facilities and local attractions
• Handle payments, invoices and front office transactions accurately
• Maintain accurate guest records and reservation information
• Communicate with housekeeping and other departments to support smooth operations
• Assist with resolving guest concerns and delivering effective service recovery
• Maintain a professional, organised and welcoming reception area
• Follow hotel procedures and service standards at all times
