Job summary

Adventure Plus, an Australian designer and manufacturer of playground equipment, is seeking an experienced CNC Router Operator / Component Fabricator – Plastics to join its Production team in Melbourne. You will program, nest and run the CNC router to produce high-quality playground components from HDPE sheet, while maintaining quality and efficiency.

You will be involved in setup, tooling, material handling and quality checks, with opportunities to develop skills across other manufacturing

Qualifications

• Experience operating a CNC router and programming/nesting
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
• Strong measuring and marking skills
• Comfort using power hand tools and basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CNC routing equipment
• Plan production sequences and nesting to maximise material usage
• Set up CNC router and maintain tooling
• Load and secure HDPE, aluminium, perspex and other sheet materials
• Monitor machine operation, quality and efficiency
• Unloading and finishing components for production readiness
• Assist with assembly and other manufacturing tasks
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area
