Job summary

Superior Screens in Slacks Creek designs and manufactures architectural privacy, shade and fencing products. We are seeking a skilled CNC Router Operator with CAD/CAM programming experience to join our hands-on factory team.

You will program, nest, and operate flatbed CNC routers (Multicam S2412, Homag OPTIMAT BHP 200) cutting aluminium profiles and supporting production flow. Key requirements include 3+ years CNC router experience, proficiency in Fusion 360 or AutoCAD, strong toolpath prep, and

Qualifications

• 3+ years operating and programming CNC routers.
• Proficient in Fusion 360 or AutoCAD.
• Strong nesting and toolpath prep skills.
• Able to read and interpret shop drawings with precision.
• Knowledge of feeds, speeds and hold-down techniques.
• Australian work authorisation is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, draw, program, layup, and operate CNC routers to cut aluminium profiles.
• Maintain clean and accurate job files.
• Work closely with production team to meet daily targets.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area.
• Use hand/power tools for post-processing or assembly.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in production processes.

Job description

At Superior Screens, we manufacture high-quality architectural privacy, shade, and fencing products — and we're growing. We're looking for a skilled CNC Router Operator with CAD/CAM programming & operating experience to join our Slacks Creek team.

This is a hands-on, factory-based role working on flatbed CNC routers (Multicam S2412 and Homag OPTIMAT BHP 200) cutting mainly aluminium products. You'll be programming, nesting, cutting, and helping keep production flowing smoothly.

What You'll Need:

• 3+ years operating and programming CNC routers
• Skilled in Fusion 360, AutoCAD, or an equivalent program
• Strong nesting and toolpath prep skills (minimal waste = big win)
• Able to read and interpret shop drawings with precision
• Deep knowledge of tools, feeds, speeds, hold-down techniques
• Physically fit and confident in a fast-paced workshop
• Organised and tidy with digital files and machine setup
• Strong work ethic and eye for quality
• Australian work authorisation is required for this position
