DI Sign Group, a well established and Melbourne based custom fabrication and illuminated signage business, is experiencing high growth. Based in our modern manufacturing facility in Mordialloc, you will join a diverse, talented, close-knit team with an excellent culture, focused on producing the highest quality in the Signage industry.

The role is permanent full-time, with some overtime available. Day shift only with hours flexible for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience (2+ years) programming and operating as a CNC Router Operator.
• Ability to read and work with technical drawings.
• CAD drawing design & optimising cutting patterns is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate Multicam & Robot Systems Router, including troubleshooting.
• Create, load and modify CNC programs with Enroute and Robot Systems Profiler X.
• Load/unload machines and set up/maintain machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Liaise with supervisor to meet daily production requirements.
• Opportunity to learn fabrication, LED wiring and sign manufacturing.

With a high profile, national client base and demand for quality manufacturing and high end finishes, we are looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join our team.

Based in our modern manufacturing facility in Mordialloc, you will join a diverse, talented, close-knit team with an excellent culture, focused on producing the highest quality in the Signage industry.

The Role

As a CNC Operator you will utilise your existing skills and experience, working closely with our highly skilled team of tradespeople and management.

The role is permanent full-time, with some overtime available. Day shift only with hours flexible for the right candidate.

In this dynamic and integral role, you will be focusing on:

• Operation of Multicam & Robot Systems Router including troubleshooting
• Creating, loading and modifying CNC programs with Enroute and Robot Systems Profiler X
• Loading/Unloading of machines
• Correct setup & maintenance of all machinery & equipment
• Operating a variety of industry related hand and power tools
• Perform thorough quality control checks on materials & products
• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Liaise with supervisor to achieve daily production requirements
• Opportunity to learn various areas of the business including fabrication, LED wiring and general sign manufacturing

Your Skills and Experience:

Coming from a similar role, you will bring a combination of the following skills and experience:

• Experience (at least 2+ years) programming and operating as a CNC Router Operator
• Ability to read and work with technical drawings
• Experience in designing CAD drawings & optimising cutting patterns experience would be an advantage
• A strong sense of accountability and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes
• Strong attention to detail and proactive
• Forklift licence preferred but not required
• Australian work rights are required for this position
