Job summary

Aussie Play in Sydney designs and manufactures playground and early learning equipment. We are seeking an experienced CAD Designer to develop new products and custom play solutions from concept to production.

You will produce detailed 3D CAD models and drawings, work with management, production staff and customers, and ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-efficient and safe. Autodesk Fusion experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CAD design – Autodesk Fusion.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and production methods.
• Ability to design products that are practical, efficient and cost-effective to manufacture.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings.
• Develop new product concepts and improve existing designs.
• Create manufacturing documentation including drawings, cut lists and assembly details.
• Work with production staff to ensure designs are practical and efficient to manufacture.
• Assist with custom playground and outdoor learning projects.
• Participate in prototyping, testing and product development.
