Job summary

Holdfast Components in Carrum Downs is seeking a reliable CNC Operator to join our team. You will operate and set up CNC machinery, read technical drawings and specs, and assist with general storework in a busy production environment.

The role requires safe handling of materials, attention to detail, and a forklift licence or willingness to obtain one. This is a hands-on position in a family-owned business that values its people and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machinery to produce foam profiles.
• Operate a vertical saw for laminate cutting
• Create foam templates for new customer orders
• Read and interpret drawings, measurements and job specifications
• Check finished products for accuracy and quality
• Complete general storework, including receiving, picking and moving stock
• Measure, cut and handle materials safely and accurately
• Maintain stock control and remain organised in a safe work area
• Work with the team to meet production deadlines and quality standards.

We are looking for a reliable and experienced CNC Operator to join our team. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys variety. Along with CNC operation, you will also assist the team with general storework.

About the Role

Operate and set up CNC machinery to produce customer foam profiles.

Operate a vertical saw for laminate cutting

Create foam templates for new customer orders

Read and interpret drawings, measurements and job specifications

Check finished products for accuracy and quality
