Job summary

C.ex Group is seeking an experienced Club Manager to oversee a mid-sized NSW club’s day-to-day operations and member-focused services. You will lead the team, manage financials, and ensure safety, compliance and quality across all facilities.

Reporting to the Group General Manager, you’ll drive guest experiences, member engagement and operational performance while upholding governance standards. A commercially minded hospitality leader is ideal for this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in a registered club, hotel, hospitality or comparable venue.
• Strong financial, commercial and people-management capability.
• Sound knowledge of NSW liquor, gaming, work health and safety, and RSA/RCG obligations.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours when required.

Lead a vibrant, medium-sized community club with full facilities and a strong member focus.

C.ex Group is seeking an experienced and hands‑on Club Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of one of its well‑established, medium‑sized NSW clubs. As part of the C.ex Group of clubs, this is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded hospitality leader to deliver outstanding member and guest experiences while maintaining high standards of governance, compliance and operational performance.

About The Role

Reporting to the Group General Manager, the Club Manager will provide visible leadership across the venues full range of facilities and services while contributing to the wider goals of the C.ex Group.

You will lead the team, manage financial and operational performance, strengthen member engagement and ensure the club remains safe, welcoming and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across hospitality, gaming, functions, entertainment and member services.
• Recruit, develop and motivate a customer‑focused team.
• Drive revenue, through effective promotions, events and member engagement.
• Maintain high standards of service, presentation, food safety and workplace safety.
• Ensure compliance with NSW liquor and gaming laws, responsible service of alcohol and gaming requirements, employment obligations and club policies.
• Manage suppliers, contractors, licences, maintenance and facility presentation.
• Provide clear, timely reports and practical recommendations for the Board.

About You

You are an approachable, accountable leader who is comfortable working both strategically and on the floor. You build trusted relationships with members, management, staff, the Board and the wider community.

Essential

• Demonstrated management experience in a registered club, hotel, hospitality or comparable venue.
• Strong financial, commercial and people‑management capability.
• Sound knowledge of NSW liquor, gaming, work health and safety, and responsible service obligations.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours when operationally required.
• Current NSW RSA and RCG competency cards, or the ability to obtain them before commencement.

Desirable

• Relevant qualifications in hospitality, business or management.
• Experience working with committees.
• Experience with functions, entertainment, marketing and facilities management.
