Job summary

Pearson Carter is seeking an experienced Cloud Migration Engineer to lead VMware-based workloads into AWS and Azure. You will leverage strong Windows Server and Wintel expertise, plus hands-on cloud experience to deliver enterprise migrations.

The role requires automation and IaC skills, along with experience in CI/CD and cloud tooling to support successful migrations and post-migration validation.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud migration programs.
• Proven hands-on work across VMware-to-AWS/Azure migrations.
• Strong Windows Server, AD, DNS/DHCP and GPO administration.

Responsibilities

Cloud Migration Engineer - AWS/Azure & Wintel

Role Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Cloud Migration Engineer to deliver and support the migration of VMware-based workloads into AWS and Microsoft Azure environments. The successful candidate will have strong Wintel/Windows Server expertise, hands-on AWS and Azure experience, infrastructure automation capabilities, IaC knowledge, and proven experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud migration programs.

• Migration execution, testing, and technical validation

• Production cutover activities

• Post-migration monitoring, troubleshooting, and support

Candidate Validation
