Job summary

Pearson Carter is seeking an experienced Cloud Migration Engineer to lead VMware-based workloads into AWS and Azure. You will leverage strong Windows Server and Wintel expertise, plus hands-on cloud experience to deliver enterprise migrations.

The role requires automation and IaC skills, along with experience in CI/CD and cloud tooling to support successful migrations and post-migration validation.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud migration programs.
• Proven hands-on work across VMware-to-AWS/Azure migrations.
• Strong Windows Server, AD, DNS/DHCP and GPO administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead VMware-to-cloud migration projects across AWS and Azure.
• Design migration strategies, target architectures and cutover plans.
• Implement automation, IaC and CI/CD to support migrations.
